Package FAQs
Who is eligible for each package?
New Business Starter and Lean Startup require at least one director and shareholders willing to meet Thai company structure rules (typically Thai-majority shareholding unless qualified for an exception). The Work Permit in the Starter requires 2M THB of registered capital per foreign hire. Retire & Reside is for first-time applicants aged 50+ who can show 800,000 THB seasoned in a Thai bank, 65,000 THB monthly income, or an equivalent combination. The Digital Launch Add-on has no eligibility restrictions.
What documents will you need from me?
At a minimum: a passport copy with at least 6 months validity, a recent photo, and proof of address. Company packages also need shareholder ID copies, proof of registered office (lease or landlord consent), and a signed shareholder declaration of funds. Retirement clients need a Thai bank statement or pension/income letter. We send a checklist tailored to your package after the free consultation, so nothing is gathered twice.
How long does each package take from start to finish?
Lean Startup: company live with the DBD in 7–14 business days, plus 5–10 days for the Non-B visa. New Business Starter: 14–21 business days for company + tax + Non-B, then a further 14–21 days to issue the Work Permit and 12-month extension once you're in Thailand. Retire & Reside: 10–14 business days for the visa once your financials are in place, with TM30 and 90-day reporting set up at the same appointment. Digital Launch Add-on: domain live within 24 hours, website ready in 2–3 weeks.
What do the optional items (VAT, Social Security, TM30) actually cover?
VAT registration (Phor.Por. 01) registers your company with the Revenue Department, issues your Phor.Por. 20 certificate, and enables you to issue tax invoices and reclaim input VAT — mandatory once revenue exceeds 1.8M THB/year. Social Security registration (SSO) registers the company as an employer and enrols your first employee, enabling monthly contributions and access to public healthcare and unemployment benefits. TM30 is the address-notification filing every foreigner staying in Thailand must have on file with immigration; we lodge it from your registered address so 90-day reports and visa extensions go through smoothly.
Can I mix and match items between packages?
Yes — every package is a starting point. Tell us what you need and we'll send a tailored quote within one business day.
Are government fees included?
No. Quoted prices cover our professional service. Government fees (immigration stamps, DBD filings, MFA legalisation, Social Security) are passed through at cost and confirmed in writing before any work begins.
What is the payment schedule?
Full payment is required in advance, in Thai Baht, by Thai bank transfer or cash at our Pattaya office. We do not accept credit cards or international wires.
What if I need to cancel?
Government fees already paid are non-refundable. Unused professional time is refunded on a pro-rata basis. We'll confirm the policy in writing in your engagement letter.
Not sure which package fits your case?
Book a free 30-minute consultation at our Pattaya office or by phone — we'll listen to what you need and quote the smallest scope that gets it done.
