Thailand Business Visa (Non-B)
Non-Immigrant B visa for foreigners coming to Thailand to work, attend meetings, or set up a company.
The Non-Immigrant B visa is the standard business visa for Thailand. It is required before applying for a work permit and is also used for short business trips, meetings, conferences and company-setup activities. We handle the embassy application, in-country conversions and 1-year extensions.

In-country extension or renewal once you hold a work permit, valid for 12 months from the application date.
Requirements
- Sponsor letter from a Thai company or invitation from a Thai partner
- Valid passport with at least 6 months remaining
- Recent passport-style photographs
- Proof of financial means (bank statement)

Frequently asked questions
Can I work on a Non-B before getting a work permit?
No. The Non-B lets you enter Thailand to set up the work permit, but you cannot legally work until the permit is issued.
Do I have to leave Thailand to renew?
Once you hold a work permit, the Non-B can be extended for 12 months in-country at Chonburi Immigration — no border run needed.
