FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can my dependent work on a Non-O dependent visa?

Not directly. A dependent visa makes work-permit applications easier, but a separate work permit and visa class are still required to take up employment.

Are children covered until 20?

Yes — children up to age 20 can hold a Non-O dependent visa. After that they must transition to their own visa class.
