Frequently asked questions
Can I work in Thailand on a DTV?
You can work remotely for clients or an employer outside Thailand. You may not be employed by or earn income from a Thai company on a DTV — that requires a work permit.
How long can I stay on each entry?
Up to 180 days, extendable once for a further 180 days inside Thailand, so up to ~12 months per entry.
Do I need 500,000 THB in a Thai bank?
No. The 500,000 THB can be in any bank account in your name — Thai or overseas.
